Tracy Goodwin gets a hat trick with book three in the Nighthawks series ICE STORM. In this story, NHL right winger Theo Ture asks former actress Olivia (Liv) DeLaurentis sister of his best friend /teammate/business partner, to go away for the weekend with him to attend a family event. His brother was taking Theo’s ex-girlfriend to the party, so Liv pretended to be his fake girlfriend.
In return, Theo agrees to go to a red carpet event with Liv for an anniversary event of the series that made Olivia a star. Liv’s reputation took a hit when her former costar/fake boyfriend ambushed her career.
Tracy Goodwin does a great job with this story. There are a lot of issues that the characters face. They are friends who progress to lovers. The characters are likable and believable. The novel is skillfully written and entertaining. ICE STORM is an excellent addition to the Nighthawk’s series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
