She starts to second guess her long-distance relationship with her boyfriend. Simultaneously, her best friend and assistant coach of the Lakeshore U hockey team, Carson Walsh, agrees to take-in team bad boy, Aiden Dumfries, to keep him away from his home town where a scandal took place.
ICE BURN is a heartfelt read. Dayna went to Boston to go to college. She wanted to get away from the reminders of her departed brother, Dalton. Aiden has trust and authority issues. He typically doesn’t get close to people but is won over by the Benson family. Dayna and Aiden don’t initially get along. After repeat encounters, they get to know each other. They have great chemistry. They help each other heal. ICE BURN is a quick and entertaining read. I look forward to the other books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
