Scoring Big (Bears Hockey II #3) by Kelly Jamieson Review

Scoring Big (Bears Hockey II, #3)Scoring Big by Kelly Jamieson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kelly Jamieson lights the lamp with SCORING BIG (Bears Hockey II #3). Carly Corrigan moves back to New York after living in Paris as an au pair for the past three years. After her heart breaking from missing the kids she watched, she vowed not to be an au par again. However, New York Bear’s defenseman and single dad Nate Karmeinski talked her into temporarily watching his daughter Quinn after he needs knee surgery.

SCORING BIG is a heartfelt read. I liked the characters. I love how Carly initially meets Nate and his daughter Quinn. Carly had interesting outlooks. She was amazing with Quinn. Nate is a fantastic dad. I like that he was open minded. I appreciated how characters from the previous book were integrated into this story. The characters faced interesting obstacles. They grew as they struggled with various circumstances. They were several thought-provoking issues talked about in this story.

SCORING BIG was skillfully written and entertaining. It was an excellent addition to the Bears Hockey II series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
