Rookie’s Regret (Tennessee Thunderbolts #3) by Gina Azzi Review

Rookie’s Regret (Tennessee Thunderbolts #3)Rookie’s Regret by Gina Azzi
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gina Azzi gets a hat trick with the third book in the Tennessee Thunderbolts series, ROOKIE REGRET. Tennessee Thunderbolts' Rookie, Cole Philips, is focused on his career and proving everyone wrong about him. Then he meets the new employee at Primrose Sweets pop up at the arena, Beatrice “Bea” Turner. He slowly pursues her not knowing that she is a teammates’ sister.

I like Cole and Bea. Cole’s parents died when he was young. I felt horrible for what he went through. His uncle raised him. He is loyal to his uncle and cousin. Bea’s parents also died when she was young. Her and her brothers were raised by their grandmother. She came home after graduation from college to help take care of her grandmother. She wants to open a pottery business. She has an ex which causes some drama.

I loved this story. It was heartfelt and realistic. The characters were not perfect and made mistakes. Both characters grow throughout the story. I am looking forward to the fourth book, PLAYBOY’S REWARD. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
