Pippa Green heats things up with book three in the Arizona Rattlesnakes series, BEST MATCH. Swedish left-winger Bates Gustafsson missed the cold weather. He hated living in the desert where his NHL team the Arizona Rattlesnakes played, so much, he was hoping to get traded. Then he meets his new neighbor, Elizabeth Swanson and her three-legged dog, Tripod. She loves the sun and gives him something to look forward to. However, both Elizabeth and Bates are only planning on being in Arizona temporarily.
Pippa Green does a wonderful job with this story. Elizabeth was passed over for a job she was promised, so she takes a leave from work. She heads to Arizona to temporarily stay at her sister’s place while she is on a business trip. She is doing things that she put off because of her job and reevaluating her career. Bates has been grumpy since he has been in the Arizona heat. He begins to thaw after being exposed to Elisabeth’s sunshine. BEST MATCH is a fun and entertaining read. It is the first book that I have read in the Arizona Rattlesnakes series. I want to read the other books in this series after reading this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
