Gina Azzi gets a win with THE SCORE KEEPER (Boston Hawks Hockey #9). Boston Hawks owner Scott Reland is interested in Primrose Sweets bakery owner Noelle DiSanto. The problem is her father is his biggest rival, the owner of the New York Sharks franchise, and Noelle is the heiress to the organization.
Gina Azzi does a great job with this story. Scott and Noelle are undeniably attracted to each other. When Noelle opens a second bakery in Boston, Scott makes his move. The two make a great couple. They appreciate that they know the other likes them for who they are and not their money. Scott shows Noelle a lot of support with her bakery. Something she does not get from her father who expects her to take over the Sharks, even though she is not interested in that. The story has some interesting obstacles.
THE SCORE KEEPER is an excellent addition to the Boston Hawks Hockey series. It is well written with likable characters. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
