Natasha Madison gets a win with ONLY ONE LOVE (Only One #7). Recently hired TV producer Frances (Franny) Grant, develops a show called “Bad Boys of Hockey.” One of her first guests is Dallas Oilers star Bradley (Brad) Wilson. Brad is attracted to Franny, but unfortunately, she is also the sister of his teammate Cooper Grant (ONLY ONE REGRET, Only One #5). Plus, there is the issue of him sleeping with her and not remembering.
Franny and her father, Mathew Grant (SOMETHING SO PERFECT, Something So #2), are not on speaking terms. He is upset with her for relocating to Dallas and accepting her new job without discussing it with him first. This crushes Franny because she loves her father and is struggling with his absents in her life. While Franny has a huge loving family, Brad just has his mother who is only interested in him when she needs money.
Natasha Madison does a fantastic job with this story. It is well executed. The characters have a lot of depth and grow throughout the book. I love how the characters in the various series have roles in this story. I enjoyed all the different aspects of the story: Franny’s job, team dynamics, family drama, relationship issues. My heart went out to the characters. There is never a dull moment. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
