Timely Assist by Robyn M. Ryan Review

Timely AssistTimely Assist by Robyn M. Ryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Robyn M. Ryan scores with TIMELY ASSIST. Five years ago, Shannon Mackenna uncharacteristically had a one-night-stand with an AHL player not knowing his name. She moved to Tampa, Florida to live with her grandmother and raise her daughter, Kayleigh. She is the owner of Shamrock Fitness Center, which is frequented by numerous Tampa Suns Hockey players. Kayleigh’s father, Cliff “Cam” Camden, is now on the Tampa Suns and pursing Shannon; not remembering that they ever spent the night together, and unknowing that they share a child.

TIMELY ASSIST is a heartwarming and entertaining story. There are a lot of interesting circumstances that take place. The characters face compelling situations. Shannon, Cam, and Kayleigh are likeable. They are dimensional. I like how they grow throughout the story. Cam was introduced as a rookie in the Tampa Suns hockey series. I like how he has matured. I also, appreciate the roles of the previous characters in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
