Elise Faber rings in the holidays with A GOLD CHRISTMAS. (Gold Hockey #14) This is a Christmas story featuring Brit and Stefan. We first met the pair in Blocked (Gold Hockey #1). Brit is still the goalie for the San Francisco Gold. Stefan is the former team captain. He is now retired. The couple wants to start a family and have been looking into either adoption or fostering. They are becoming frustrated with the wait, both feeling like they are letting the other down.

A Gold Christmas is a heartfelt story. I like that it brought back Brit and Stefan in a real-world situation that could strain a marriage. I appreciated how the couple handled the situation and grew in the story. The book takes place around Christmas. It is a heartwarming read for the holidays. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
