Change on the Fly (Totally Pucked #1) by Maren Moore Review

Change on the Fly (Totally Pucked, #1)Change on the Fly by Maren Moore
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Maren Moore breaks-out with CHANGE ON THE FLY (Totally Pucked #1) NHL Chicago Avalanche star Reed Davidson’s life is turned upside down when he becomes the legal guardian of his three-year-old nephew, Evan. He enlists the help of his sister Emery’s best friend, Holland Parker, to help watch Evan and travel with him at his away games. The two start to develop feeling for each other but know that it could jeopardize their relationship with Emery.

Maren Moore does an exceptional job at the start of this series. Reed and Holland are likable characters. With the help of Evan, they mature throughout the story. I like that they grew up living next door to each other. They think they know each other but learn so much more about the other. I like the relationship they have with their families. I appreciated that Reed sought advice from Liam Cartright (from THE NEWSPAPER NANNY).

CHANGE ON THE FLY is skillfully written and heartfelt. It is an excellent foundation for the Totally Pucked series. I am looking forward to Briggs Wilson’s story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
