Newspaper Nanny by Maren Moore Review

The Newspaper NannyThe Newspaper Nanny by Maren Moore
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Chicago NHL coach, Liam Cartright, is struggling to find the perfect nanny for his two daughters. He decides to go old school and put an ad in the classified section of the newspaper. Juliet Michaels is having a hard time finding a job because she has one year left to finish her degree in early-childhood education. She had a tradition with her grandfather of reading the classifieds every Sunday. It felt like faith intervened when she found the perfect nanny position in the paper.

Maren Moore does a marvelous job with the NEWSPAPER NANNY. It has a clever plot and great characters. Juliet and Liam have fantastic chemistry. They try to keep things professional but cannot help falling for each other. The girls are adorable. Then there is Juliet’s grandmother and her friends. They are beyond entertaining. Add in an awesome hockey team and you have a great cast of characters.

NEWSPAPER NANNY is a heartwarming and entertaining read. It is skillfully written and easy to read. This is the first book that I have read by Maren Moore. I enjoyed her writing style and want to Brigg’s story next, SINCERELY, THE PUCK BUNNY. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
