Olivier (Chicago Blaze #9) by Brenda Rothert Review

Olivier (Chicago Blaze, #9)Olivier by Brenda Rothert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Brenda Rothert’s OLIVER (Chicago Blaze #9) in hot. Chicago Blaze team owner Olivier Durand rescues Daphne Barrington from a burning vehicle. A video of the rescue goes viral, and everyone seems to want the two to get together. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.

OLIVER is a wonderful conclusion to the Chicago Blaze series. Mr. Durand is a fantastic team owner. The Blaze is a family not just a business. Oliver is a likable character. He had a humble past and became a successful business man. He remembers his roots and is very charitable. Daphne is a great heroine. Her father is the senator. Her parents snobby attitude turned her off from rich people. She wrongly assumes Oliver will be the same. He works for her respect.

Brenda Rothert did a great job with this story. It is an excellent example of why not to judging people. The story is skillfully written with interesting twists. I could not put it down, reading it in one sitting. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
