Halftime (Moo U #6) by Kim Findlay Review

Halftime (Moo U #6)Halftime by Kim Findlay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kim Findlay is heating things up with HALFTIME (Moo U #6). Burlington University hockey defenseman Sebastien Hunter gets a second chance with his ex-girlfriend, Faith Devereaux, when she enters her freshman year at Moo U as a goalie on the woman’s hockey team.

Faith and Seb broke up a year prior to the story, after Seb drunk dialed Faith, and she thought he cheated on her. Faith’s father cheated on her mother, so she has trust issues. After discovering that Seb did not cheat the two slowly rebuild their friendship/relationship. Faith and Seb have some interesting obstacles throughout the novel. I appreciated how some of the guys on the men’s team had no clue how much better they were treated until they befriended members of the woman’s team.

This is the first book that I have read by Kim Findlay. I enjoyed this story and plan on reading her hockey romance series. HALFTIME is a great fit in Sarina Bowen’s world of True North. I recommend this story to people who enjoy hockey romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
