My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Brenda Rothert is on fire with the eighth book in the Chicago Blaze series, KIT. This is NHL star Kit Carter’s and Chicago Gazette reporter Molly Lynch’s book. Molly is asked to write a story about Kit. She is not convinced he is as nice of a guy as he appears. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.
First off, I instantly liked Molly because we share the same last name. A divorce left her with some anxiety and trust issues. She is hardworking and dedicated. Kit is a great guy. He has a secret in his past that he does not want uncovered. The two have great chemistry. There are some interesting issues that the characters face; among them, Molly not wanting to become involved with a source.
KIT is a wonderful addition to the Chicago Blaze series. It is skillfully written and a page-turner. I recommend this book to people who enjoy sports romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
