Bet on Ice (Boys of Winter #9) by S.R. Grey Review

Bet on Ice (Boys of Winter #9)Bet on Ice by S.R. Grey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

S.R. Grey raises the stakes with BET ON ICE (Boys of Winter #9). Las Vegas Wolves hockey forward Landen Zehner loves to gamble; he meets Cricket Nance while playing black jack and the two make a bet, and one wager is not enough. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.

BET ON ICE is a fun story. Landen and Cricket are entertaining characters. They have great chemistry, and both are risk takers. They continually make interesting wagers with each other throughout the story. Seeing how they live in Las Vegas, it seemed appropriate.

The story is enjoyable and creative. It is skillfully written. It is not all just fun and games. The couple does face some challenges. BET ON ICE is an excellent addition to the Boys of Winter series. I recommend this book to people who enjoy sports romances. It could be read as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading the entire series. I am looking forward to Sabastian’s story next in, DARE ON ICE. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
