ONLY ONE CHANCE is a heartfelt and humorous story. I like Miller’s character. He was wild in his younger years of hockey but now that he is getting older; he has mellowed out. Miller is very persistent and thoughtful. Layla is a fun heroine. She has always been attracted to Miller but was turned off by his playboy ways. I like that she gets this opportunity to get to know what Miller is like now that he has matured.
Layla’s grandma is hilarious. Her date had me crying with laughter. The plot was clever and had interesting hurdles. ONLY ONE CHANCE is skillfully written and entertaining from start to finish. It is a great addition to the Only One series. I recommend it to people who enjoy sports romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
