Forbidden on Ice (Boys of Winter #8) by S.R. Grey Review

Forbidden on Ice (Boys of Winter #8)Forbidden on Ice by S.R. Grey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

S.R. Grey is heating up with Forbidden on Ice (Boys of Winter #8). In this story, hockey player Blake Cavaletti is traded to the Las Vegas Wolves. He meets an amazing woman named Noelle. Unfortunately, he didn’t know that she is his friend and teammate Noel Sandlund’s twin sister. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.

Forbidden on Ice takes place around the same time as some of the previous books, including book seven, Illusion on Ice (Noel’s story). Forbidden on Ice is a fun story. I like how Blake and Noelle met. It was amusing. I like how they got to know each other. After discovering that they are connected through Noel, they have some interesting situations to handle.

S.R. Grey does a great job intertwining this book with the other books in the series. I love that we see characters from the other books and get different perspectives. The story is well-written and entertaining. You could follow it as a stand-alone, but I think it would be more enjoyable if you read the series in order. I’m looking forward to Landen's book next, Bet on Ice. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
