Center of Gravity by Isabella Cassazza
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Isabella Cassazza is on a winning streak with Center of Gravity (Ice Tigers Hockey #2). Emilia Ravelli and Matt Walker spend one amazing night together in Italy, only knowing the other's first name. Emilia moves to Boston to become the new GM of the Ice Tigers’ hockey franchise. She’s shocked to discover that Matt is one of her players. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.
Isabella Cassazza does a fantastic job with this story. Emilia and Matt have a lot of stressful issues to overcome in this novel. Especially Emilia who is thrown into a situation, she knows nothing about. She handles herself well. They both grow considerably throughout this book. I enjoyed the fashion twist with the sports team. I love that they get a second chance to be together. This story is a good example of why communication is important.
I love that Tyler Wolfe, Danny Fisher, and Lily Parker from book one, Defying Gravity played an integral role in this story. I’m looking forward to Michael’s story in book three, Fighting against Gravity. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
