To Claim A Wolf (The Macconwood Pack # 5) by C.D. Gorri Review

To Claim A Wolf: A Macconwood Pack Novel (The Macconwood Pack Novel Series Book 5)To Claim A Wolf: A Macconwood Pack Novel by C.D. Gorri
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

C.D. Gorri’s TO CLAIM A WOLF is captivating. Pack attorney, Dib Lowell and paralegal/dormant werewolf Aleeza Marlowe investigate a lead on their Alpha's long-lost mother. They need to masquerade as a couple while at the foreign pack. This paranormal romance is suitable for adult readers.

I enjoyed TO CLAIM A WOLF. The characters had depth and are likable. Dib is a tough attorney. He’s antisocial and logical. He has been interested in Aleeza but stayed away from her because she was fourteen years younger than him and a normal. His wolf has possessive feelings for her, but he is afraid he will hurt her. Aleeza is a sweet heroine. She is introverted, hard-working, and ethical. She felt out of place in the pack since she never turned. She has had a crush on Dib since she met him.

The plot was clever and skillfully executed. The details of the case they were working on are interesting. There were mystery and betrayal. The situations that Dib and Aleeza are in is original and enthralling. There were unexpected outcomes. The book was stimulating from start to finish. I recommend this story to lovers of paranormal romance. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
