Not What He Thought (1Night Stand) by Melissa Kendall Review

Not What He Thought (1Night Stand)Not What He Thought by Melissa Kendall
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Melissa Kendall’s NOT WHAT HE THOUGHT is a great addition to both the Castle Wolves and 1Night Stand Series. Castle Wolves pack beta Mason Taylor is considered a ladies’ man. He goes to Madame Eve with hopes of finding his soul mate. He is shocked to discover that person is Sebastian Cooke. This contemporary PNR is suitable for adult audiences.

NOT WHAT HE THOUGHT is an enjoyable story. I like that Mason and Sebastian shared a past, meeting in college. Mason was intrigued with Sebastian back then but did not consider himself gay. The men both want to find that special someone and settle down. However, their reunion does not start off well. The book has some interesting conflicts and a good story line.

NOT WHAT HE THOUGHT is a fast read at 55-pages. Perfect if you don’t have a lot of time and would like to get an entertaining book in. It is well-written and flows well. I enjoyed both characters and would like to read more about them in future books.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
