Hunter Forsaken by Nancy Corrigan
My rating: 4 1/2 of 5 Stars
Nancy Corrigan’s Hunter Forsaken is a fantastic addition to the Wild Hunt Series. Ian Callahan is the newest member of the Wild Hunt. He discovers that the woman that haunted his dreams for the previous three years is real and a fellow member of the hunt, Tegan, third in command. This contemporary PNR is suitable for adult audiences.
You know the saying, “the plot thickens.” Definitely, popped into my head while reading this story – holy guacamole, talk about unexpected twists. Nancy Corrigan does a fantastic job of creating a contemporary series based off of mythology. Hunter Forsaken is filled with action and excitement.
The characters are complex and believable. I like Ian. He goes through a lot of changes in a short amount of time; initially not dealing with it well but able to come to grips. Tegan struggles with her curse. She discovers a lot about herself in this story and grows considerably. Then you have Arawan, Minerva, and Lucas. Talk about drama. I cannot wait to read what Nancy Corrigan comes up with next.
