Creepy Hollow: Violet's Story by Rachel Morgan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Faerie, Violet Fairdale, is on a quest to graduate at the top of her guardian class. While on a mission, things go wrong that will affect the entire Fae realm.
I love this series! If you haven’t read the Creepy Hollow series yet, do yourself a favor and pick up this box set versus buying each book on its own, because once you get started you will not want to put it down.
Violet is an incredible heroine. Her parents die when she is young, and she is determined to follow in her mother’s footsteps by graduating the top of her class. She is strong, smart, and motivated. She grows tremendously throughout this series; her priorities changing and maturing.
I really like Ryn. His character also evolves greatly throughout the series. He is full of surprises. Violet and Ryn are constantly challenging each other and consistently arguing. They have such a complicated history and interesting future. They have great chemistry and lots of obstacles to face.
The plot is amazing. This series really comes together in the last book. Creepy Hollow is packed with nonstop action and excitement. It is creative and full of vivid imagery.
Rachel Morgan has done a fantastic job with this series. I’m so glad the story is going to continue ten years later because I’m not ready for this series to end.
