Claiming the She-Wolf by Louisa Bacio
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
She-wolf, Tala Graystone is determined to turning her home into a B&B, but it needs a lot of work. Wolf-shifter, Yas Collins returned to Los Lobos to discover his roots and lands a construction job with Tala. However, not everyone in town wants Tala to get her business up and running.
I enjoyed Tala’s character. She is strong-minded and driven. She does not back down to her brother’s wishes and follows her dreams.
Yas is a likable hero. He struggles with his wolf after growing up in the city. After hearing about the power shift in his childhood pack, he wants to return in order to discover his roots. He is daring to return to Los Lobos. I like that he is hard working and protective of Tala. The two have a great chemistry.
I enjoyed the plot. There was some conspiracy and drama. It was a good fit to the many books in the Black Hills Wolves Series. Claiming
the She-Wolf is a quick and entertaining read.
