Highland Wolf Pact Compromising Positions by Selena Kitt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Scottish clan Laird Donal MacFalon falls for Wulver, Kirstin, when she travels to his land to help her injured pack mate. However, King Henry VII has arranged a marriage between him and another.
I really like Donal. He is the complete opposite of his deceased brother, Alistair, from book one. He appreciates the Wulvers and is a thoughtful leader.
Kirstin is a brave and sweet character. She risks her life to travel on her own to help her Alpha’s brother. She does what she feels is the right thing and has a big heart.
I love the historic aspect of the novel. It takes place in Scotland during the reign of England's King Henry VII and the Tudors. I have always found that time period fascinating.
The plot was well-thought-out and rich with detail. It had a little of everything: romance, history, magic, deceit, politics, and cultural differences. The story was unique and exciting.
Selena Kitt does a fantastic job with her descriptions, plot, and character development. If you enjoy historical fiction with paranormal aspects, this series is a must read. I’m looking forward to Griffith’s story in Highland Wolf Pact Blood Reign (Highland Wolf Pact #3).
