It was interesting learning more about Valerie. She has an abrasive personality, but I can understand the attitude considering some of the things she has been through.
I was fascinated by the dynamics of Aurora’s and Valerie’s relationship as they worked together to fight their team leader, Jared.
Dante cracks me up. He is a great partner and friend to Aurora. I love that he is always there for Aurora. I enjoyed him pretending to be her boyfriend. He was a good choice. He is very polite and definitely someone you would want your grandma to meet. It’s great that he took advantage of the situation.
I was surprised by the ending and cannot wait to read what happens next in book, Bad Blood. This is a great series for anyone who enjoys young adult paranormal books.
