Windburn (Nightwing #2) by Juliette Cross Review

Windburn (Nightwing, #2)Windburn by Juliette Cross
My rating: 4 ½ of 5 Stars

Sorcha Linden and dragon-hybrid Lorian Nightwing definitely share chemistry. When Sorcha is being stalked by a cult fanatic, Lorian will do everything in his power to protect and claim her.

Windburn is an exciting action pack, and suspense filled story that kept me on the edge of my seat. I flew through this 91 page novella engrossed in every page.

I enjoyed Lorian’s intense personality. He is all alpha and not someone people messed with. Well, that is anybody but Sorcha.

I appreciated that Sorcha didn’t fear Lorian’s dominance and liked to push his buttons. She is a strong heroine who does not back down; a good challenge for Lorian.

I was fascinated by the business aspect of this book and the creation of the human- Morgon nightclub. The description and organization were well done with vivid detail.

Windburn is a cleaver well-written story. It is the first book I read in the Nightwing Series, and it definitely sparked my interest in continuing this series.
