Kissed By A Demon Spy by Sharon Kay Review

Kissed By A Demon SpyKissed By A Demon Spy by Sharon Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As a teen, Garnet was kidnapped and made a sex slave to Drant at Stroehm. Now that she has been freed, she goes back to her village where she meets Aden, the local innkeeper that has a secret life.

It was nice to hear Garnet’s story after she helped Brooke and Kai’s escape in Book 2 of the Solsti Prophecy, Wicked Waves. Kai sent some friends back to free Garnet in Kissed By A Demon Spy. After everything that Garnet went through, she deserves a second chance. She is a wonderful mother to her son, Dash. She is brave and does what she believes is right.

I really liked Aden. He is a spy and top scryer for the Deserati demons. He hires Garnet to work for him at the inn as a cook. The two develop an attraction to one another. Garnet is embarrassed of her past, and Aden is sensitive and able to get her past that. Aden is a great role model and father figure for Dash. He is a caring individual who complements Garnet. I was happy that as, Garnet and Aden’s relationship grew, they learn to trust one another.

Kissed By A Demon Spy has a wonderful plot with a lot of excitement. Nothing is easy and a lot is worth fighting for.

Sharon Kay wrote a remarkable story with a sensitive subject matter. No one should have to be subjected into being a sex slave. In Garnet’s case, she had a warranted happy ending. Kissed By A Demon Spy in a heartwarming story that can be read as a stand-alone but is a perfect companion piece to Wicked Waves.
