Forever And A Day by Ann Gimpel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Forever And A Day (The Company Store #2) by Ann Gimpel
Mountain lion shifter, Tamara MacBride killed her sister's murderer, not thinking about the consequences. Lars Kinsvogel is on assignment as an espionage agent for The Company but someone has taken out his target. On his way to the airport he notices a woman being shot at that was with his mark. He rescues her trying to find out her motives.
Tamara is pleasant character. She seeks revenge for her sister's murder not thinking of her own safety. I admire that she handles herself well in high-stress situations.
I enjoyed getting to know Lars better after reading about him in book one. He is an entertaining hero who is easy to like.
I adored the two characters together. At first, they seem so different but as more is revealed about them; they are a lot alike making a perfect couple.
Ann Gimpel does a fantastic job with character development. I love that I can tell who is speaking without even seeing a name in the sentence. She does a great job at differentiating, especially when it comes to dialects.
The plot was well done filled with action. Forever And A Day is a thrilling novel.
