This One Moment (Pushing Limits #1) by Stina Lindenblatt Review

This One Moment (Pushing Limits, #1)This One Moment by Stina Lindenblatt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stina Lindenblatt’s This One Moment is a sensational start to the Pushing Limits Series. After a tragedy, Nolan Kincaid, left his hometown in Northbridge, Minnesota to pursue a career in music in L.A. He also left behind his best friend and the girl he loved, Hailey Wilkins. The book starts out five years after Nolan left his hometown. Nolan now goes by the name of Tyler Erickson. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the band Pushing Limits. He discovers that Hailey is in a coma and drops everything to go back to Northbridge, potentially putting his career in jeopardy.

My heart went out to Nolan. His past was tragic. It is understandable that he had amnesia about the events that took place and was hoping going home would not trigger his memory. He is a great guy who is extremely talented. I love that the bands number-one hit song, song, This One Moment, was written about Hailey. Tyler’s relationship with actress Alyssa Graham was interesting. I appreciated that she is a decent person and friend to Tyler. The fabricating of their relationship by the label is completely believable.

Hailey is a likeable heroine. She had to deal with some difficult situations. She is strong and good for Nolan. I love Nolan’s Forget-Me-Not nickname for Hailey. It is appropriate, being her favorite flower and considering their relationship. I’m glad that Nolan and Hailey had great friends like Brandon and Kayla to help support them.

I LOVED This One Moment. It was full of mystery, passion, tragedy, drama, romance, and excitement. This new adult contemporary rock star romance was well executed and convincing. I truly enjoyed the plot. This was a difficult book to put down. This is the first book I read by Stina Lindenblatt, and it will not be the last. I definitely want to continue reading the Pushing Limits Series.
