Covering Kendall (Love and Football, #4) by Julie Brannagh Review

Covering Kendall (Love and Football, #4)Covering Kendall by Julie Brannagh
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Star football player for the Seattle Sharks, Drew McCoy, and General Manager of the San Francisco Miners, Kendall Tracy, should have recognized each other before they embarked on a one-night-stand. Once they realized they worked for rival teams, they agreed to pretend the incident never happened. Too bad they are attracted to each other, can’t stop thinking about each other, and keep running into one another.

I liked Kendall. She is a smart business woman with a great knowledge of the game of football. She is strong for succeeding in a predominantly male industry. She handles herself intelligently and with grace.

Drew is a great guy. He is popular but remains down to earth. Drew’s family drama was interesting and a well-timed life lesson for himself.

I appreciate that Kendall and Drew meet at a bookstore. You have got to love fellow bookworms.

The plot was fun and entertaining. I agree with the book in that it was contemporary Romeo and Juliet minus the deaths. The story is well-written making it easy to read and hard to put down.

I really enjoyed the ending. It was heartwarming and sweet. Julie Brannagh wrote another great book in the Love and Football series. I look forward to reading future books in the series.
