Thank you for joining me! I’m very happy to be here today, celebrating the upcoming release of my time travel romance RENDEZVOUS WITH YESTERDAY, The Gifted Ones Book 2. (If you’re new to the series, don’t worry. All of my books can be read as stand alones.) Today I thought I would give you a glimpse of modern-day bounty hunter Bethany’s adventures in medieval England and her mischievous sense of humor by sharing some of my favorite quotes from RENDEZVOUS WITH YESTERDAY.

“I just had a very naughty thought,” she whispered, her heart again pounding in her chest.

Robert’s eyes rose to meet hers, so full of desire.

“I was thinking,” she continued softly, “that you were looking at me as if I were good enough to eat, and—”

“Beth?” he interrupted, his voice deep and hoarse.

“Yes?”

“I beg you not to finish that sentence.”

She laughed.

“Why don’t you take your clothes off and join me? These sheets will get warmer a lot faster if you and I create a little friction.”

He laughed. “No doubt they would.”

“I think men just want women to ride sidesaddle because you’re afraid we’ll show you up,” she taunted. She didn’t think they called it sidesaddle yet, but they had become surprisingly adept at translating her modern speech, so she suspected they would catch her meaning.

Stephen, of course, took the bait. “Do you imply we fear you will best us?” he asked with some affront.

“Absolutely,” she affirmed. “If women were allowed to ride astride , you men would eat our dust.”

Stephen snorted. “Aside or astride . . . if one is skilled, it makes no difference.”

“Oh, yeah? Have you ever ridden sidesaddle?”

“Do I look like a woman to you?”

“Do you really want me to answer that?” she countered.

“Beth . . .” Robert cautioned as thunderclouds darkened the scruffy knight’s features.

Grinning unrepentantly, Beth tossed him a wink. “I can’t help it. He’s such an easy mark.”

Beth offered Alyssa a tentative smile. “Maybe we could start over? I promise—once we tell you everything—you can touch me all you want.”

All eyebrows flew up.

Beth groaned. “Wait. That didn’t come out right.”

Beth extended her hand again. “Do I just picture what I want you to see?”

“Aye, though I should warn you I may pick up other things along the way,” she cautioned. “Things you may not wish me to see. Things you think of often.”

Beth bit her lip. That was a bit unsettling. “Then I should probably warn you that you are likely to see a lot of Robert naked.”

Alyssa’s eyes widened as a blush climbed her cheeks.

Dillon released a bark of involuntary laughter.

When Beth glanced at Robert, his eyes twinkled as his lips stretched in a mischievous smile.

“You imagine me naked often, do you?” Robert murmured, toying with a lock of her hair.

Beth winked. “Are you kidding? You’re naked right now.”
