Ally Adams Team Lucas is a great start to the Saints Team Series. Mia Carter gets a new job trying to keep soccer star/bad boy, Lucas Ainswright, out of trouble. This contemporary sport romance takes place in Santa Ana, California. It is suitable for new adult and adult audiences.
I enjoyed the plot. It was clever and held my interest. The story was well executed, and the characters are believable. I like Lucas. He is an elite athlete; captain of his team and World Cup player. Mia has her work cut out for her minding Lucas. She has the perfect personality to do her job. I enjoyed her humor. I love their verbal banter. I enjoyed when they are in a car together, Mia’s driving is amusing. I like Luke’s friends. There are some interesting conflicts in the story. I enjoyed Ally Adams writing style. The book flowed well and was an enjoyable read.
