Dawn by Alyssa Rose Ivy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Alpha of the Dire Wolves, Hunter, is imprisoned by the Pterons while on his quest to stop the hunt. Gage and Mary Anne attempt to break Hunter out.
Dawn is an action pact story that was full of exciting twists.
Alyssa Rose Ivy does a fantastic job with her character development. Mary Anne and Gage grow tremendously throughout this story. Newly turned Dire Wolf, Gage is dealing with his two sides; while Mary Anne goes from being meek to bold. The two also have wonderful chemistry.
I enjoyed Hunter and Michelle’s interaction. I found it amusing that they both initially attempting to use the other and came to an understanding. They are smart individuals whose conversations I enjoyed. I would love to see a story with these two down the line.
I also enjoy Alyssa Rose Ivy’s Crescent and Allure Chronicles. It is interesting viewing the Pterons from the Dire Wolves’ viewpoint.
I love the world that Alyssa Rose Ivy created. She does a great job describing the setting. The plot was interesting and full of struggles and mystery. There were multiple exciting turns of events. I like how the story concluded.
