Hungry Like the Wolf by Paige Tyler
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Investigative journalist Mackenzie Stone is convinced that the Dallas SWAT team is hiding something. It is up to SWAT team commander, Gage Dixon, to keep Stone from discovering the team is comprised of Wolf Shifters.
Gage is a magnificent hero. He is brave and loyal. He cares about his pack and protecting the innocent.
I enjoyed Mac. She is inquisitive and smart. She is persistent in her quest to uncover the truth. I like that she grows in the novel and realizes that unearthing reality is not always for the best.
The plot was interesting and believable. The action never stopped and kept me intrigued. The book flows well and is easily read.
Hungry Like the Wolf is an excellent foundation for the SWAT series. I look forward to reading Paige Tyler’s future books in the series.
