Interview:

Please welcome "Visionary Untamed" author, N. Dunham, who has joined us today for an interview.

Thank you for having me on your awesome blog!! It is my pleasure to be here.

What is your favorite part of the story, Visionary Untamed?

I loved writing the part when Aislinn and Sebastian became separated. I wanted to write about how they would behave when they weren’t in each other’s company. I wanted to show the readers that their love was true and real despite being tempted by other forces!
I also loved writing the part about the jaguar. It was a symbol in the book that showed Aislinn’s connection to the animals in the rainforest. I personally love big cats, so I got to live vicariously through my characters as they were able to connect and actually pet a jaguar!

If you were stranded on a desert island which of your characters do you want by your side?

Hmmm. If I wasn’t married, I would pick Sebastian for sure! He’s handsome, strong and wise and underneath all that he has a heart of gold and is a one-woman man. He could protect you from danger and comfort you during tough times. Who wouldn’t want that?

If you could be best friends with one of your characters, who would it be?

I would choose Aislinn, the protagonist of the book. I admire her character and her youth. She is  young and she is still figuring out who she is, as I still am and I am much older, lol. But, she grows every day and she discovers who she is and she is strong and witty. Plus, it would be pretty cool to be friends with a Visionary considering she can see the future and turn into her spirit animal!

What inspired you to write your first book?

I guess a lot of things inspired me. I just sort of imagined this story happening. I love red-tailed hawks and all animals. And I love young adult novels that incorporate strange phenomena’s. So I pretty much wrote about what I thought would be neat to experience!

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

I can’t name just one. I discover new authors that I love all the time. So I’ll just name a few it that’s okay. I love Suzanne Collins, J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, Veronica Roth, Nicholas Sparks, Amanda Hocking, and so much more. Did I mention Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein?

How do you overcome writer’s block?

Well, I wish I could say I had writer’s block, but it seems that I have just the opposite. I have too much to write and not enough time to do it. Countless ideas are swimming in my head and I just haven’t the time to figure them all out, let alone write them down So, how do I overcome that?

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

Yes. I would love to say hello and thank you for reading the Visionary Trilogy! If you are curious about your spirit animal, according to the Visionary Trilogy, then check out my website at www.ndunham.com xoxoxo ~N. Dunham
