Nicole Martin was a child, eight years old, when the vampires revolted killing her family. It has become her life mission to develop a vaccine to cure vampirism to eradicate the creatures.
Riker kidnaped Nicole in an attempt to barter her in exchange for a captured vampire. The two should hate each other, but as they get to know each other, feelings develop.
Larissa Ione does a phenomenal job in the development of this story. There are so many interesting twists and turns that you will not want to put the book down.
This was an excellent start to the MoonBound Clan Vampire Series. I can’t wait to read what happens in the next book of the series, Chained by Night, expected to be released on August 1, 2014.
