Easton by S.R. GreyMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
S.R. Grey lights the lamp with EASTON (Glacier Hockey #1). Ten years ago, hockey star Easton Sonden and Claire Weller made a marriage pact to tie the knot if neither one of them was taken by Claire’s twenty-seventh birthday for her to receive her trust fund. They lost touch over the years when Easton moved to Boston. Now, he is back in Phoenix, playing for the Glacier expansion hockey team. Claire is wondering if Easton was serious about the promise he made.
S.R. Grey does a great job with this story. Easton and Claire are fun characters. They are childhood friends that never made the moves on each other for fear of hurting their friendship. They lost touch and reunite under the guise of the marriage pact. I love that these two get their chance at a relationship.
EASTON is skillfully written and entertaining. The characters grow and face some interesting situations. EASTON is an excellent start to the Glacier Hockey series. I am looking forward to Lennox’s book next. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
