Mr. Heartbreaker (The Nest #1) by Piper Rayne Review

Mr. Heartbreaker (The Nest #1)Mr. Heartbreaker by Piper Rayne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Piper Rayne lights the lamp with MR. HEARTBREAKER (The Nest #1). Kyleigh Nilsen made a deal with her brother, Conor, to never date his teammates. So technically it is not a big deal when she starts messing around with Chicago Falcons center Rowan Landry. That is until her brother is traded to the team, and Rowan has no idea she has a brother in the NHL.

Piper Rayne does a fantastic job with this story. The characters are likable, and the story is believable. Rowan had a rough childhood. He worked hard at hockey to get a better life. Piper is a fashion designer working for her mother. She catches her mother cheating on her father and begins to reevaluate her career choice as a result. Piper and Rowan have great chemistry. Throw in an overbearing older brother. They face interesting situations. They grow throughout the story.

MR. HEARTBREAKER is an excellent start to The Nest series. I am looking forward to continuing reading this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
