Puck Happens (Calico Cove #7) by Hailey Shore Review
Hailey
Shore
scores
with
PUCK
HAPPENS
(Calico
Cove
#7).
NHL
captain
of
the
New
England
Bruisers
Dillon
Le
Coeur
(The
Heart)
is
back
home
in
Calico
Cove
for
the
summer.
While
he
is
there
he
meets
feisty
figure
skater,
Olivia
(Liv)
Tyler-Branch.
She
intrigues
him.
He
cannot
stop
thinking
about
her.
Neither
one
of
them
recognizes
the
other.
When
training
camp
begins,
Dillon
is
shocked
to
discover
that
Liv
is
the
Bruiser’s
new
skating
coach.
I
like
Dillon
and
Liv.
They
are
both
extremely
competitive.
It
is
quite
entertaining.
They
have
excellent
chemistry.
Dillion
is
focused
on
hockey.
He
worries
that
being
in
a
relationship
would
distract
him
from
hockey.
Liv
suffered
a
traumatic
injury
and
can
no
longer
compete.
She
gets
resistance
from
some
of
the
players
and
needs
to
win
them
over.
Dillion
and
Liv
face
interesting
obstacles,
and
both
grow
throughout
the
story.
PUCK
HAPPENS
is
a
heartwarming
and
entertaining
read.
This
is
the
first
book
that
I
have
read
by
Haily
Shore.
I
enjoyed
her
writing
style
and
would
read
her
work
again.
I
voluntarily
reviewed
an
advance
reader
copy
of
this
book.
